PTFE Mesh Sheets with Reinforced Edges

Finished PTFE mesh panels with reinforced borders for repeated handling. The open center allows ventilation while the edge treatment keeps the cut mesh organized around the panel perimeter.

Standard Configurations

Specify a 4 × 4 mm open center with a reinforced border for a removable process panel. The active mesh area and outside dimensions are sized separately.

A finished panel instead of a bare cut edge

Raw mesh edges can fray or distort when a sheet is moved between trays. A reinforced border defines the perimeter and makes the panel easier to handle as a repeatable fixture component.

The border also occupies space. Specify both the finished outside size and the unobstructed mesh area so the panel fits the tray without covering the ventilation area that the process needs.

Use the frame to carry the load

A flexible mesh sheet needs an appropriate supporting tray or frame. The border does not turn it into a rigid screen. Support spacing and the softness of the product determine whether the center stays flat enough for the process.

For a moving conveyor, order a finished belt rather than fitting a stationary panel into a tensioned loop. A conveyor joint, tracking guide and roller contact need a belt-specific construction.

Equipment & process duties

Applications

Removable drying panels

Place a defined mesh insert in a supporting tray for ventilated process work.

Handling fixtures

Use an edged sheet where operators repeatedly remove and replace the release panel.

Equipment release inserts

Fit a custom outer profile while keeping the required center area open for airflow.

Common Questions

Should I specify outside size or mesh size?

Specify both. Outside dimensions govern the tray fit; the active mesh area excludes the reinforced border and determines the open working area.

Is this panel a complete conveyor belt?

No. This is a removable mesh sheet. A moving belt needs a circumference or open length, a splice and tracking details matched to the conveyor.

Does the reinforced border make the sheet rigid?

No. The panel remains flexible. Use a tray or frame with suitable support spacing for the load and product shape.
